Chemical Ingredients for Ganoderma Lucidum
Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma Lucidum Leyss. ex Fr. Karst）also named glossy ganoderma, rui cao. Japan named Wan Nian Rong. It belongs edible medicinal fungus which distributed all of the world widely especially in tropical and subtropical. It has more than 2000 years for ganoderma lucidum in medicinal application, including the ganoderma fruiting body, ganoderma lucidum spore powder, mycelium body. In “ Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing ”–the most historical and famous medical book in China, written the mainly function beneficial of ganoderma lucidum series. Many study and clinical research certified the ganoderma can regulate immunity, protect liver, anti-tumor, anti-aging, and improve the body’s ability to resist oxygen.
The ganoderma has very complex chemical ingredients for ganoderma lucidum which include polysaccharide, triterpenes compound, nucleotide, amino acid, sterol, alkaloids and etc.

Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide is generally composed of D-glucose, D-galactose, D-mannose,D-xylose, L-fucose, L-rhamnose, L-arabinose and other monosaccharides.

Ganoderma lucidum contains ribosidoadenine,urapine nucleosides, ganoderma lucidum glycosides, adenine, urine purine,ganoder purine,choline, betaine, ganoine,ganodine, niacin and etc
4.Sterols
The content of sterols in ganoderma lucidum is higher and got 20 kinds of sterols. Mainly divided into 2 types : ergosterol and cholesterol.
