Taking Inonotus Obliquus Extract Suppresses Cancer Progression and Maintains Body Temperature
Cancer is the most causes the high morbidity and mortality in worldwide, how to find the most effective method or ways for cancer treatment and prevention is required in world always. Some countries have used the Inonotus obliquus extract ( chaga mushroom extract) to treat or cure cancer and demonstrate the effective anti-tumor activities in it. However, it is still unclearly for its underlying mechanisms and actual effect in clinical research. Now in this study, we mainly to investigate the effective mechanisims for inonotus obliquus extract on tumor suppression.
In the study method mainly examined the anticancer activity of inonotus obliquus extract ( chaga mushroom extract) on the mouse. For 3 weeks in dose of 6mg/KG/day intake the extract to investigate the lewis lung carcinoma growth and spontaneous metastasis, meantime to get chaga infusion daily in Japan.
In the two models, study find the inonotus obliquus extract can significatn suppressive tumor effects. In the tumor-bearing mice, 60% tumore reduction was observed, while in metastatic mice, the number of nodules decreased by 25% compared to the control group. Moreover, after taking inonotus obliquus extract remedy the mice show increase in tumor agglomeration and inhibition of vascularization. Interestingly, I. obliquus intake decreased body weight in middle-aged mice and increased body temperature in response to light-dark switching in mature adult mice. Furthermore, I. obliquus prevented temperature drop in mice after tumor implantation.
Taking Inonotus Obliquus Extract Suppresses Cancer
We showed that the continuous intake of the I. obliquus extract can potentially suppress cancer development through the maintenance of the body temperature. In addition, middle-aged mice drinking the I. obliquus extract exhibited body weight loss. Our findings suggest that the aqueous extract of I. obliquus could be used as a natural product for cancer suppression and general health care.
