Effect of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide s on hemodynamic and antioxidation in T2DM rats
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effects of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides (GLPs) on the hemodynamics and the content of NO, SOD, MDA, CAT and GSH-Px in myocardium of type 2 diabetic rats.
METHODS: Diabetes mellitus (T2DM) was induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ) 30 mg · kg-1 for 4 weeks. Rats were randomly divided into 6 groups: normal control group, model control group, Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide low, medium and high dose treatment group (200,400,800 mg · kg-1), berberine positive control group, drug treatment, SOD, MDA, CAT and GSH-Px in the left ventricle were measured at the end of the 16th week. The ultrastructure of the left ventricle was observed by electron microscopy (TEM). Results: Compared with the model control group, the middle and high dose of Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides could effectively lower the blood glucose level, improve the hemodynamics index of diabetic rats: lower LVEP, increase LVSP, dp / dtmax, -dp / dtmax; Stress. At the same time can significantly improve myocardial ultrastructure. The effect of high dose group was better than that of middle dose group and BerG group.
